At the opening, Tomi Rumpf, the managing director of Stud Farm Lipica, said, “Lipica is something special. There is only one environment in the world, where a history of more than 430 years of natural and cultural heritage is being preserved, and that is Lipica. With this state-of-the-art museum, we will be proud to show it to the visitors.”

The Lipikum Museum has a clear objective: to place Lipica and the Lipizzaner on the map of the most important locations of European cultural heritage and to strengthen the role of the Lipizzaner as a national symbol.
