First time on stage "Tina Maze & Feel Slovenia Band"
I feel Slovenia in Schladming
During the Saturday's Winner Award Ceremony of the FIS Ski World Championships we witnessed yet another superb performance of Tina Maze. Not on ski, this time, but together with established musicians who, specially for this occasion, have created the "Feel Slovenia Band".
The "Feel Slovenia Band" is composed of well known Slovenian musicians - Matjaž Jelen/Šank Rock, Tangels, Mary Rose, Samuel Lucas and SoulGreg.
The thirty minutes performance at the great stage of the Schladming medal plaza showed that Tina is not only a ski legend, but is also in her element on the music stage, among Slovenian rock stars.
This cooperation between sports and music, between the best Slovenian lady skier and successful Slovenian musicians was gladly supported by SPIRIT Slovenia and the Government Communication Office; as cooperation with successful individuals gives additional visibility to our country and is an important contribution to its promotion. The musical performance of the "Feel Slovenia Band" certainly added some pepper to the closing ceremony of the Ski World Championships, showing Slovenia at its best to ski fans.

World Cup Finals
The alpine skiing World Cup finals, held between 13 and 17 March 2013 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, will see Slovenia's champion, Tina Maze, bring her season to an outstanding end – with top results that will go down in the alpine skiing history and new goals for the 2014 Olympic season.
During the World Cup finals, from 14 to 17 March, Slovenia will have an 'I Feel SLOVEnia Pub' open in the centre of Lenzerheide (Voa Principala 51); among other events, the pub will host a promotion of Slovenian cuisine carried out in cooperation with private sector partners (for more details on the pub and the programme visit the pub's FB profile at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Feel-Slovenia-Pub-14313-17313-Lenzerheide/459724260767406 ).
The evenings of Friday 15th March and Saturday 16th March will have acoustic performances of the 'I Feel SLOVEnia Band', gathered around Matjaž Jelen, a legendary singer of the Šank Rock group. It is well known that top skier Tina Maze has entered the music scene this year. Her song 'My Way is My Decision' has been a great success; she performed live for the first time with the I Feel SLOVEnia Band at the conclusion of the FIS Ski World Championships in Schladming.
The Communication Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia has ensured that the 'I Feel SLOVEnia' brand will to be present at the press conference and the accompanying events. At the press conference, Tina Maze will outline her incredible season and talk about her plans for the future. The press conference will be held Saturday, 16 March 2013 at 6 pm at the PESKO Gallery in the centre of Lenzerheide.
And finally, Tina's faithful fans have not been left out; we have provided them with paraphernalia bearing the I Feel SLOVEnia brand. The best Slovenian skier of all time is thus to also become the best ambassador of Slovenia around the world. The Communication Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia wishes Tina Maze every success in the future and looks forward to her participating in the Sochi Olympics.
