Portorož hosting the sixth ATP Challenger Tournament

This week the ATP Challenger Slovenia Open 2018 tennis tournament got under way in the summer atmosphere of the Portorož coast.

This year's event also involves a charitable initiative: the opening night of the tournament was marked with a charity concert of Slovenian rock band Big Foot Mama. In addition to the concert, the funds will be collected through a charity auction, with the aim of collecting funds to pay for sports activities and trainings for over 100 underprivileged children in the next school year. The auction includes a tennis racket signed by the first player of the world, Rafael Nadal, a pair of cross-country skis belonging to Slovenian biathelete Jakov Fak, a hockey stick of Slovenian NHL hockey player Anže Kopitar and the jersey of Slovenian NBA player Goran Dragić.
