Student must be fully insured against illness, accidents, death and civil liability for the whole duration of his stay in Slovenia. The right to health care services comprises services at the primary level, including dentistry, health care services in certain types of social care institutions, specialist out-patient services, hospital and tertiary level services.

Health Insurance

The Health Care and Health Insurance Act (ZZVZZ) stipulates that entering the mandatory health insurance programme is required for both Slovenian and foreign citizens.
